FAQ – Beezy Tiger
Helping you connect with nature, explore art, and get the most out of your Beezy Tiger experience in Amsterdam and beyond.
General
Why does Beezy Tiger combine art and gardening? That’s an unusual mix!
Beezy Tiger brings together my two passions — creating art and working with plants — because both are calming, hands-on, and creative. I actually find many similarities between the two: both encourage patience, observation, and connection with the world around us. Based in Amsterdam, I share these experiences through workshops, artworks, and gardening consultations. Learn more about my story here
How did Beezy Tiger get its name?
Beezy Tiger reflects my love for bees, nature, and creativity. The tiger represents curiosity and energy, and fun fact — I was born in the Year of the Tiger! “Beezy” hints at busy hands in gardening and art. Together, the name captures the playful, nurturing spirit of my Amsterdam garden & studio.

Workshops
Can I book a private or company workshop?
Yes! Beezy Tiger offers workshops for individuals, small groups, and companies in Amsterdam. Each session can be tailored to your group size, interests, or special occasions. Visit the Company Workshop page for more information on possible topics and examples.
Are workshops suitable for beginners?
Yes, all my gardening and art workshops are designed to be welcoming and hands-on — no prior experience is required.
Do you offer workshops outside Amsterdam?
Currently, all workshops take place in Amsterdam. For companies and private parties, we can discuss customized offsite options nearby.
What do I need to bring to a workshop?
Just yourself and curiosity! All materials are provided, and workshops are hands-on and relaxed.
What if I can’t find a workshop topic I’m interested in?
Even if you don’t see your preferred topic listed, I can create a custom workshop just for you. Many past workshops were tailored to participants’ requests, including gardening, terrariums, herbs, and more. Contact me and I'll help design a session that fits your interests and goals.
How far in advance should I book a workshop?
I recommend booking your workshop or consultation at least 1–2 weeks in advance. For private or company sessions, your date and time are secured once the contract is signed or the invoice is paid at least 14 days before the session. This helps ensure everything is prepared for a smooth and inspiring experience.
Can I cancel or reschedule a workshop booking?
Each workshop has its own policy, listed in the workshop description. If something unexpected comes up, please contact me as soon as possible. I generally don’t offer make-up classes, but exceptions may be made depending on the situation. For company workshops, cancellations are not possible once the contract is signed or the invoice has been paid (at least 14 days before the workshop date).
I saw a past workshop or a topic I’m interested in, but don’t see a new date listed. How can I stay up to date for the next one?
The best way to stay updated on new Beezy Tiger workshops in Amsterdam is to follow my gardening account on Instagram (@beezygardener) — I share every newly available art and gardening workshop there. You can also subscribe to my quarterly newsletter, where I announce upcoming sessions, special events, and new creations.
